1min Get the students to read the passage for the first time and answer the question:
What does Wang Lingling mainly want to tell us in the passage?
Get the main idea by reading the title of the passage. 理解型提问:引导学生理解文章大意,即how to be green并回忆green的含义。
1min Get the students to read the questions in Paragraph 1 and test how green they are. Finish a survey and check how green they are. 评价型提问:引导学生独立思考自己是否真正环保,从而引出如何环保。
30s Get the students to read Paragraph 2 and answer a question:
How can we be green?
Read paragraph 2 and answer the question: Reduce, reuse and recycle. 记忆型提问:激发学生说出关键词,引出核心问题及问题链1—What do “reduce, reuse and recycle” mean?
3mins Get the students to read the last part, take notes and finish the table. Read and find out the detailed information about reduce, reuse and recycle. 启发性、解释性讲解:帮助学生提取并处理文本信息,进一步理解并找出关键词的含义和内涵,引出问题链2—What are the real meanings behind the three key words?(reduce→rethink
reuse→respect
recycle→reborn)
1min Show the students the table again and get them to think about the real meanings of reduce, reuse and recycle. Think about what the writer really wants to tell us. “We can do something to help.” 1.分析型提问:再现关键词,引导学生深入思考并剖析其内涵。
2.归纳法讲解:在旧知识和新知识之间建立联系,从而内化知识。
2mins Show the students a task and get them to make a poster in groups about their ideas about being green. Then guide them to present their works. Work in groups, make a poster about ideas being green and make presentations. 读后拓展任务:运用所学语言列举环保做法,提出问题链3—How can we be green in daily life?, 落实学以致用的原则。
1min Ask the students to imagine and lead them to think about our environment in the future. Answer a question and think about things they can do. 创新型提问:引导学生反思环保做法,培养学生开放性思维。

Call on the students to take actions to protect the environment.

Improve the awareness of environmental protection. 提高学生环保意识并采取实际行动,用所学语言做事情。
核心问题 以语用目标贯穿始终,落实语言学习的实践性理念。学生以“减少、再利用、回收”为目标语言,进行输入、内化,运用目标语言谈论对环保的认识和做法。
